On the morning of November 18th, in Phu Tho, the Ministry of National Defence launched the 2020 training course on fireworks display techniques for the entire army. Attending the course, there were 276 trainees who were officers of military districts, the Hanoi Capital High Command and Military Command of provinces and centrally-run cities.
The training course was organized by the General Department of Defence Industry (TC CNQP), in cooperation with the Department of Military Training (the General Staff), the Command of the 2nd Military District, to introduce and unify in the firework force in the entire army the order and procedure in steps to carry out the letting off techniques as well as the fireworks contents, ensuring the fine arts, quality and safety when deploying the mission.
Those who attended and directed the training, in the General Department of Defence Industry, were Lieutenant-General Tran Hong Minh, Director of the General Department; Major General Nguyen Dac Hai, Deputy Director of the General Department, Head of the Organizing Committee. On the side of the 2nd Military District, those were Major General Pham Hong Chuong, Commander of the Military District; Major General Nguyen Dang Khai, Deputy Commander – Chief of Staff of the Military District.
In Vietnam, fireworks have become an indispensable demand for enjoyment of the people during holidays and Tet. According to the regulations of the law, the Government uniformly manages and assigns the Ministry of National Defence the task of producing fireworks and equipments used for fireworks; commanding and training the techniques of fireworks nationwide. Z121 Factory (under the General Department of Defence Industry) is the only company in the country that have permission to produce and supply fireworks.
During the period from November 18th to 20th, trainees will be trained on the theoretical content, including: Introduction and dissemination of regulations of the State and the Ministry of National Defence on the management and use of fireworks; safety in fireworks transportation and preservation; general introduction about the structure, specifications and operating principles, classification of fireworks and methods of letting off fireworks; instructions for fireworks equipments; guide for letting off techniques, fireworks destruction and fireworks safety. The contents of the practical training include: Practising arranging, fixing, and connecting the fireworks trusses according to the scenario. After training, there will be results check and issuing certificates according to regulations.
In the program, participants will have a visit to the newly invested fireworks production line in Z121 Factory.
